Today marks a milestone in the web browser battles as Firefox writes a new chapter in its storied history. If all goes well, by the end of the day today, Mozilla Firefox will hold a Guinness world record for the most downloads of a piece of software in any 24 hour period. Actually, even if all doesn’t go well, they should still hold the world record, because this has never really been kept track of before. However, in order to make a record that will be hard to beat, go ahead and download Firefox 3 today.

I’m reading this blog in my newly downloaded version of Firefox 3. I think everyone else should do the same! As an added bonus, people can go to: http://www.spreadfirefox.com/en-US/worldrecord/certificate_form and enter their name, which will create a personalized certificate to show that you participated in this monumental event!
