This is interesting -- Google has been forced to remove a lot of images of streetview in the United Kingdom. So, if TomBravo is from there, maybe he could get them all removed.

Here is a link to the article:

@TomBravo

Unfortunately, there are many sites that have indexed satellite images, as well as "bird's eye view" images of every piece of land in the United States. Since it is all publicly viewable, it probably would be hard to get it all removed.

You can try contacting Google Earth and Microsoft Virtual Earth, but I'm not sure if they will do anything. Good luck though, and let us know if anything does come of it, that would be fabulous!

Hi TomBravo - I sent you an email detailing how you can remove yourself from Google's phonebook.

As to the terrorist threats, I can't stop those, but hopefully no new terrorists will be calling since your phone number will soon be out of Google's Whitepages.

Unfortunately, you can't remove your house from Google Streetview since the images that Streetview has archived are easily accessible to any human by simply walking down your street. However, if you live on a private road, you may have a good case against Google.

Good luck with everything. We are sorry about the divorce.

I don't know why everyone thinks that this is such a big deal. If you have an unlisted number, then you won't be on the Google results.

My parents number has always been listed in the phonebook and it is on Google. If someone really wants to track you down, they will find you. Its not like taking your name off Google will make you invisible.

there are private investigators that can find anyone anywhere. You can find sites online that do this. I don't think that having your name on or off Google really makes a difference at all.
